If you love to breaking embedded devices. Then side-channel attack is one of desirable skillset to have. In this talk, I will explain what is side channel attack. How does it work, and how it can be used to hack everyday consumer devices through practical examples. In particular, I'll demonstrate how to measure the time to crack encrypted harddrive PIN codes. How to perform the fault-injection to got root in the router. And how to use Chipwhisperer to do some magic on the targets.
